What this build is for

The 4.7 solo cargo ship. Stanton-internal trade routes, profit per hour, no combat pretensions.

  • 512 SCU floating cargo container with enough teeth to deter a drive-by
  • Not a Pyro ship, not a combat ship
  • Hull B shipped 2026-04-08 in 4.7.1 (scfocus)
  • The "next solo cargo ship" players were waiting for

The build

Why Hull B over Hull-C

  • 4.7 hit Hull-C with a −58% HP nerf ([Erkul live-differences])
  • Hull B slots in below it with cleaner cost-per-SCU and a medium-hangar footprint
  • Multiple guides rank it the best solo cargo of 4.7 (ggwtb)

Stats at a glance

Burst DPS1,200, Shield HP36,000, Cargo512SCU, SCM speed145m/s. The Omniskys are the entire delta vs stock (which ships zero body weapons).

When not to use this build

  • Pyro runs. Light survivability by design. Take a C2 or don't go (gamer.org).
  • Combat-heavy routes. Passive defensive loadout. Fly a real combat platform if you expect to fight.
  • Awkward cargo shapes. Hull B uses CIG's external grid — bad for fragile or oddly-shaped loads.
  • Sub-100 SCU runs. Wasted capacity. Use a Cutlass Black.

What patches this is good for

Authored against build 4.7.2-LIVE.11674325. 4.7.1 is when Hull B went LIVE. 4.7.0's armor threshold and missile rebalance don't materially affect this build — the Omnisky IX is a laser used for self-defense vs fighters, well above the threshold problem range.

Highlighted cards are variant changes.
